Telia Christmas '24


Telia is a major telecommunications provider in the Nordic and Baltic regions, delivering mobile, broadband, fixed-line, and digital TV services. Recognized for its reliability and customer-centric innovation, Telia serves both individuals and businesses with a strong emphasis on quality and connectivity.

Challange
For the Christmas campaign, the objective was to sensitively portray the experience of a child with autism during the holiday season—striking a balance between emotional depth and warmth without veering into overly somber tones.

Solution
A cover of the classic Motown song "Ooh Child" was arranged and recorded to fit the tone of the story. The production involved international casting of over ten singers, with final vocals recorded by British singer Maya Bella-Edwin at Mama Studios in Vilnius. Detailed sound design played a critical role, using distortion and exaggerated small sounds to reflect the sensory intensity often experienced by individuals with autism.

Result
The result was a deeply moving, yet hopeful piece that resonated with audiences and perfectly aligned with Telia’s tradition of heartfelt, musically-driven Christmas campaigns. The ad was praised for its authenticity, sound quality, and emotional impact.
